This is a small ceramic cat pincushion, Made In
Japan. It is fairly old and needs a
little cleaning. I found it at a local
estate sale. It does not seem to have
any dings, though the glaze was painted on a little coarsely and white shows
through the blue base. The cushion is of
some type of foam and appears to be original
There are a few old pins I left in.
This ceramic cat is about 2.5 inches tall.
I love these cute little Made in Japan figurines. Cat ceramics are popular. I will have to look this up to see if there are many out there.
